Festivals and Things to Do in Decatur
Many people are drawn to the Intown Atlanta neighborhoods because there are so many festivals and things to do. Decatur sets the bar for festivals and brings in thousands of people every year.
This popular neighborhood truly has it all — the Decatur Square with restaurants and shops, public parks everywhere you look, and some fabulous annual festivals including the Beach Party, Beer Tasting Festival and the Decatur Book Festival, the largest independent book festival in the nation. There are also several smaller events for the residents like the Movies on the Lawn and Lunchtime Jazz in the Square.
